Darren played in the Junior and Senior US Men's National Team programs and overseas in top divisions in Argentina and Australia. When he came back to the US, he coached local high school teams, then coached the UCONN club & varsity field hockey teams and assisted the varsity program while studying Nursing at UCONN. He then helped build and grow one of the most expansive club programs in the country. Now, more than 15 years later, he has coached hundreds of athletes, helping them get recruited to play in collegiate programs, become collegiate coaches, and even be selected to the US Women's National Team. He is a FIH rated coach and umpire. He started DELTA Field Hockey in 2023 with the goal of paving a new path and inspiring the next generation of coaches and athletes to be the change they wish to see in the world.

Zimm, originally from Newtown, CT, is a former Division I field hockey player at Bryant University, where she was a four-year starting midfielder/defender and a 2x NEC Academic Honor Roll honoree. After graduating in 2021, she joined the coaching staff at Wesleyan University, contributing to the team's rise as one of the top DIII programs. Having coached club field hockey since high school, Zimm is passionate about helping athletes of all ages, from youth to collegiate levels, reach their full potential. An FIH-rated coach, she is dedicated to player development and success.

Ally, from Duxbury, MA, is a standout Division I field hockey alumna of Boston University, where she was a 2x NFHCA All-American, 2x Northeast Region Player of the Year, and 2x Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. In 2019, Ally joined the U.S. Women’s National Team, where she has been competing internationally in the FIH Pro League, the 2022 Pan American Cup, and representing the U.S. at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. An FIH-rated coach, Ally is excited to grow the game with DELTA and inspire athletes to compete at the highest level.

Allie, from Stafford, CT, played Division II field hockey at Southern Connecticut State University, where she was a four-year starting defender, multi-year NFHCA National Academic Squad member, and recipient of the SCSU Leadership Award for the class of 2017. After graduating, she coached at the elite club level, with multiple National Indoor Tournament appearances, and spent over five years coaching high school athletes, preparing them for the collegiate level. Allie currently resides in Ellington, CT, with her husband and son, Grayson.
